The Diasec process is a unique technique that involves high control in the handling process and that combines a photographic emulsion with a system of chemical components with ultraviolet inhibitor and color neutrality to the Acrylic glass surface.
Diasec - High Quality Finishing Technique for Photographs:
-
Technique and Materials Used
-
The Diasec process combines a photographic emulsion with a chemical system that includes ultraviolet inhibitors and color neutrality, applied to acrylic glass.
-
A Dibond panel is glued to the back of the emulsion, which provides great stability and resistance to the work.
-
The fixing is done with a frame placed on the back of the Dibond, at a distance of approximately 10 cm from the edge of the image, creating the sensation of the photograph “floating” on the wall.
-
-
Protection and Durability
-
Diasec protects the image against dirt, premature aging and mechanical risks, as well as preventing damage caused by atmospheric pollution and fingerprints.
-
The liquid gel used in bonding is 100% transparent and anti-reflective, which guarantees color neutrality and prevents air bubbles, dust or residue, offering long-lasting protection.
-
LNE certification ensures light resistance of up to 100 years, without chromatic discoloration, maintaining vivid and detailed colors over time.
-
-
Aesthetic and Visual Aspects
-
The Diasec finish provides a " wet look " effect, which gives the photograph a wet appearance and intensifies color contrast, increasing depth and sharpness.
-
Colors become brighter and subtle details are highlighted, creating a visually striking, high-quality image.
-
-
Advantages for Galleries and Museums
-
The process is ideal for display in galleries, museums and interior architecture environments, due to its ability to highlight images in a unique and sophisticated way.
-
The technique allows photographs to be preserved on a contemporary and durable support, with excellent resistance to light and wear.
-
-
Printing Process and Additional Protection
-
The photographs are printed with high definition technology, using large format printers and pigmented inks, ensuring vibrant colors and high resolution.
-
Additionally, Diasec can include a UV lamination layer, providing extra protection against damage caused by ultraviolet rays, preventing discoloration and extending the life of the image.
